Sunday Children's Events


Communion at Mount MiseryCHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Children are important at MUMC. We offer ministries and programs designed just for them!

Infant/Toddler Nursery
A paid staff and volunteers care for the children who spend time in the nursery. Nursery care is available from 8:15 – noon on Sunday’s. We have a pager system for parents use, that silently signals when there is a need for a parent to return to the nursery.

Sunday School – Sunday Morning at 9:30
Classes are available for children age 3 thru 5th grade. Each class is taught by caring and enthusiastic teachers using a curriculum that helps children to grow in their faith and come to value the stories of God’s people from the Bible.

Children’s Sermons
Each Sunday early in the 11:00 worship service children are invited to share a special time with one of the pastors. This time offers insight into the Bible and God and what they mean in each child's life. Following the Children’s Sermon kids are invited to attend Children’s Church.

Kid’s Church
Following the Children’s Sermon at the 11:00 worship service kid’s 3 years old thru 2nd grade are invite to attend Kid’s Church. This is a relax setting for children to fellowship and learn about God in a nontraditional setting.

  • Vacation Bible School (Summer)
  • TTFN - 3rd thru 5th grade youth group (monthly)
