United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The UMW would like to thank all of you who participated in the UMW Flea Market, either by helping with setup/tear-down, having a table, serving food, donating to the white elephant table, making a cash contribution to IHN, being a customer, or just sending your prayers our way.
FALL UMW MEETING Attend the Fall UMW General Meeting on Wednesday, October 24th, at 7:30pm. Our guest speaker will be Carole Nelson, District President of UMW. Her presentation will be about the underground railroad and the role that quilts played in leading people to freedom. Please sign-up in the Narthax.

- Mark your calendars now for the Winter UMW Christmas Dinner and Installation of Officers that will take place on December 12th. Watch the bulletin for further information.
- The Greater NJ United Methodist Women’s Annual Meeting will take place on Saturday, October 20th, beginning at 9:45am at the Pitman United Methodist Church. For more information, contact Charlotte Hagmaier.
- The Capital District United Methodist Women Annual Fall Dinner will be Friday, October 5, 2007 at 6:15PM at St. Mark’s UMC, Hamilton Square. Cost is $10 and is due by September 28. Please call Charlotte Hagmaier or the church office if you plan to attend.
