The ministry of men at Medford United Methodist Church is a core group of men, partnering with our pastors, to invite and initiate fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. The focus is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend a meeting, but outward to all men, with an attitude of invitation, not expectation or obligation. UMM activities are aligned with mission and ministry goals of the church.

United Methodist Men ("UMM") generally meet twice monthly. On the 2nd Saturday (8:00am) there is a breakfast, followed by a brief time of devotions and discussion. On the 4th Saturday (8:00am) there is a study group (which generally includes bagels/cream cheese and coffee) lasting about an hour. All men are invited to attend these get-togethers.

High on the list of priorities for UMM is the sponsorship of several major fund raising "eating events", which goes toward the Scholarship Fund for the youth of the church or assist in the support of a church mission trip. These events have been blessed with good support from our church community and individuals in our UMM during the program year.

Further, the UMM serves various meals (e.g. Thanksgiving Breakfast; UMW Breakfast; Easter Sunrise Breakfast) in direct support of our church community, its mission and its members. In addition, the men support outreach mission's such as Habitat for Humanity and a Migrant Farm Worker Christmas Dinner.

We are blessed with many good men at Medford United Methodist Church who graciously give their time and energy to the many interests of the UMM. We are also thankful for all of the great support from our Medford UMC community, and look forward to offering them a full schedule of good eating opportunities again this year.
